This Make a Will Month - Will you make the pledge?
Staff at the hospice work tirelessly to ensure people receive the vital, specialist care and support when they need it most - but we rely on the help of our community to so we can continue to offer this amazing care.
Leaving a gift in your Will is a valuable way to support the work we do and make sure we are able to support our patients and their families in the future.
Many people don't have a Will but making one couldn't be simpler as Nick from PR company Intro found out. Watch the video below to find out more...
Did you know, we require £3m in donations to keep running every year?
Approximately 32% of our income [in 2019] was made through gifts in Wills. This means the care for one in three patients was possible through generous acts of kindness.
And because of that, we are incredibly grateful to those people who, many years ago, decided to support the hospice in this way.
No matter how large or small your gift is, it will help support local people with life limiting illnesses.
Are you ready to help our hospice and pledge to leave a gift in your Will?
How to support hospice
- If you already have a Will you can ask your solicitor to ensure it includes a donation to the hospice
- If you have yet to organise a Will now is the perfect time to make one and include Eden Valley Hospice or Jigsaw as a beneficiary. You can either make a donation for a specific amount in your will or stipulate a percentage of your estate.
