A view into the hospice
Our reception area
Take a look around the entrance to our reception, our recently refurbished waiting space, coffee lounge and decking area.
The Fold
The Fold is open for anyone to use as a place for peace and quiet to light a candle or just a place in which to sit. There is often quiet music playing in the background. We also have a perpetual candle and a book for your thoughts and reflection.
Our Compassion Tree is also there, with leaves that you can write the name of a loved one and hang on the tree. The Books of Remembrance are also kept in The Fold.
Hospice bedroom
We have ten single en-suite rooms available on the adult in-patient unit. Each single room is equipped with an electrically adjustable bed hat are used to ensure the comfort of the patient.
Each room has a flat screen Freeview TV with a built in DVD player, radio, Wi-fi and CD player. The rooms are bright and airy and look out onto our beautiful garden. It is possible to move the bed into the garden, so patients can enjoy the outside environment.
Day Services
Our Day Services is a wonderful facility that offers supportive care for people living with life limiting illnesses. The surroundings are very relaxed and comfortable, offering a choice of activities that are centred on wellbeing, companionship and support.
Family Support
