The hospice is very proud of its retail operation, a part of our marketing and income generation department, which has grown steadily over the years. Our shops have become a genuine presence in the high streets around Cumbria and a popular place for many in our community.
There are many ways you can support our shops, both on the high street and online.
We would like to remind all supporters NOT to leave donations in the doorways of our shops. We will not accept any donations left within the shop doorways in the shop and they will be classed as fly tipping, with the items being removed by the council.

We are now accepting The Charity Shop Gift Card ā the only nationally accepted, multi-retailer gift card that can be spent exclusively in charity shops.
The Charity Shop Gift Card is a not-for-profit that has been developed and launched in association with the Charity Retail Association.
We sell and accept the card in our four shops in Carlisle and Penrith.
The gift cards themselves are recyclable and compostable and are available from participating charities and at supermarkets and other major high street retailers. They can be purchased as e-vouchers online.
