Step 1 – Complete the Retail Gift Aid form in any of the Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw shops. If your donations are being collected, you can access and print the form to complete before our drivers arrive and hand to them on the day. You can also ask a member of staff to send you a Gift Aid form with our collection drivers. By signing the form you agree that Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw can act as an agent and sell your items on your behalf.
Step 2 – You will be given a unique donor ID Number and all your items will be labelled with this number which will help us total up the amount of money raised from the sale of your items. Whenever you donate items in the future, please bring along the card with your unique donor ID Number to include on additional donated items.
Step 3 – When you items are sold, we’ll let you know (by letter or email) how much you’ve helped us raise and confirm that you’re happy for us to treat the money as a Gift Aid donation. We will then claim the extra money from HMRC – you don’t have to do anything.
