National Superhero Day
It’s Time to Show Your Powers!
Not all superheroes wear capes... Our heroes are wearing scrubs, catering whites and carrying mops and hoovers... But they can’t be there for our community without our fundraising superheroes!
Tuesday 28 April is National Superhero Day, but rather than celebrating comic book heroes this year we want you to show your support for your local heroes here at Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw. There are lots of ways for you, your family, friends and neighbours to take part and support your hospice during these challenging times.
Dress Up and Donate
Wear your favourite superhero costume, t-shirt or mask for the day and make a donation to the hospice.
Take the Hospice Hero Pledge
Pledge to do something amazing and support your local hospice. From joining our lottery to donating the costs of your weekly commute, you really can do anything and become a Hospice Hero.
Host a Movie Marathon
Prepare your home cinema, get the popcorn ready and take part in your own superhero film movie marathon. Enjoy your favourite films with your friends and family wherever they are by keeping in touch through Zoom, Facetime or any other video call platforms.
Comic Book Reading Marathon
How many comic books could you read in one hour or one day? Enjoy your favourite comic books whilst raising money for your local hospice.
Create Your Own Superhero Mask
Download our FREE superhero masks and get creative whilst supporting your local hospice.
You don’t have to be the next Mary Berry to enjoy making cakes. Why not get into the kitchen, cook up come mouth watering cakes and decorate them like your favourite superheroes. There are lots of ideas about how you can do this on Pintrest.
Once you have dressed up in your favourite costumes took the Hospice Hero pledge, hosted a movie marathon, read all your comic books, made your own make or baked some cakes make sure you take a picture and share it with the hospice.
You can share you pictures by tagging Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and use #ourhospicesuperheroes. Or you can send any pictures to email@example.com
