Challenge yourself and support the hospice during the summer with this exciting community event.
Celebrate the hospice's 30th Anniversary and help us ensure another 30 years of care through your vital support and fundraising. Take on the Lake District Ultra Challenge and raise vital funds for Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw this summer.
The Lake District Ultra Challenge allows you to take on England’s finest countryside at your own pace. Test your limits on the Ultra Challenge and take on either the 25 km, 50 km, or 100 km routes. Whether you walk, jog, or run your chosen route, this challenge is suitable for all skill levels.
This event includes the very best support and hospitality along the way to give you the best chance of completing the challenge.
Whether you are a walker who is new to challenge events, an experienced trekker or a marathon runner looking to up the distance, Ultra Challenge is accessible to everyone.
The challenge base camp is situated in Kendal and from there the route spans 100km taking in tough hills, the Garburn Pass, Ambleside, Lake Windermere and many more scenic and stunning views. Upon completion you will receive a huge welcome and celebration back at Base Camp. With half and quarter distance options – there is a Lake District Challenge for everyone!
