Mini Tesla donated to Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice
- Friday, 21 December 2018
Children, young adults and nurses at Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice received an early Christmas present this year thanks to the kindness and generosity of Tesla Owners Group United Kingdom.
A gleaming, fresh out the box ride on Tesla car has been donated to the local charity and immediately proved to be a big hit with the children. Over the coming weeks and months electric cars are being donated children’s hospices and hospitals across the UK with the aim of providing entertainment for children and young adults going through difficult times.
Natalie Bingham, Corporate Relationship Co-ordinator at Jigsaw.
"We are absolutely over the moon with this fantastic donation! The children in Jigsaw have already been whizzing around the unit, it really is a great addition! A huge thank you to Pippa from Tesla Owners UK for thinking of us here at Jigsaw.
Pippa Kieser, member TOGUK.
“We are thrilled to have been able to donate the mini-Tesla to Jigsaw. Hopefully the experience will bring a lot of smiles and happy memories to the young visitors.”
