A wonderful day at Penrith Show!
From rural businesses to community groups and families enjoying the Cumbrian sunshine, this year’s Penrith Show was a fantastic celebration of what makes our community so special.
We were delighted to be part of such a well-loved event, as this year’s Charity of the Year. Throughout the day, our team and volunteers had the opportunity to meet supporters, talk to visitors, and share more about the specialist care Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw provides across Cumbria.
A special thank you goes to all of our wonderful volunteers who gave up their time to support your hospice and raise awareness of the specialist care and support we provide. Every conversation, whether to learn more about our services, discuss fundraising, enquire about volunteering, or to simply say hello, helped shine a light on the importance of hospice care in our local communities.
We’re incredibly grateful to Penrith Agricultural Show for selecting us as their Charity of the Year, allowing us to connect with so many people and share how local support helps us provide care to families facing some of life’s most difficult times.
