Team Lead Registered Nurse

(Adult InPatient Unit)

As a Team Lead Registered Nurse, you will play a key leadership role in delivering outstanding specialist palliative and end of life care while supporting, inspiring and developing our multidisciplinary team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and compassionate nurse leader who shares our values of Caring, Respect, Innovative and Inclusive. You will help shape and continuously improve services, ensuring patients and families receive safe, responsive and holistic care during some of the most important moments of their lives.

Working alongside the Quality and Safety Lead and the Practice development Lead, you will support service development, champion quality improvement, nurture professional growth, and contribute to a culture where everyone feels valued, heard and empowered.

 

As a Team Lead, you will:

• Lead by example in delivering exceptional specialist palliative care.

• Support the safe and effective day-to-day management of clinical services.

• Promote a culture of kindness, inclusion, continuous learning and professional excellence.

• Develop and support colleagues to achieve their full potential.

• Drive quality improvement, innovation and evidence-based practice.

• Ensure patients, families and carers remain at the centre of all decision-making.

• Support effective use of clinical systems, outcome measures and data to enhance care delivery.

Team Lead Registered Nurse
  • 36 hours per week (full-time). We welcome applications from candidates seeking part-time hours or flexible working arrangements. The salary range shown is based on the Hospice’s full-time equivalent (FTE) of 37.5 hours per week. For positions of 36 hours or lower, the salary will be calculated on a pro rata basis according to the contracted weekly hours.
  • 12-hour shifts worked across a 7-day rota, including days (7:30am to 8:00pm) and nights (7:30pm to 8:00am).
  • Permanent contract
  • Salary £42,743.72 to £45,511.88 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Enhanced rates are payable for weekend, night and bank holiday working.
