You’re invited to take part in a magical walk giving you the opportunity to experience the sunrise from the top of Blencathra!
Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice is bringing back their beloved Stars to Sunrise event this September. You can take part on your own or as a team, all while making a difference to local adults and children throughout Cumbria with life-shortening conditions.
On Sunday 21st September at Threlkeld Village Hall in the early hours of the morning (3.15am), you’ll scale the mountain under the stars to reach the summit for sunrise, before returning to base for a well-earned bit of breakfast! This is in conjunction with Lakeland Mountain Guides and the walk will be fully guided by their experts making it accessible for most physically fit walkers. With 2 routes to the summit, you can choose your level of challenge to suit your ability.
