Jill Johnson

Jill joins us as a Trustee with experience working in senior leadership at executive, director and non-executive director  level across a range of sectors. With a career focused in HR and more latterly incorporating sustainability, Jill is passionate about building inclusive cultures and working with purpose led organisations. Jill currently holds positions as Chief People and Sustainability Officer at The Cumberland Building Society, Non-Executive Director and Chair of Remuneration Committee at University of Cumbria and Women in Finance Board Member and Chair for Building Society and Credit Union Sectors – bringing vital experience to the Board. Jill is a proud Cumbrian with experience of working both inside and outside of the county and is married with three grown-up children.
