Help our Hospice - Will you make the pledge?
Staff at the hospice work tirelessly to ensure people receive the vital and specialist care and support when they need it most - but today we’re in need of your help at this critical time.
We’ve launched the Help our Hospice appeal in an effort to find 300 people who will pledge to include a gift in their Will to Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw during our 30th anniversary year.
Did you know, we require £4m in donations to keep running every year?
And this year, more than ever, we’re depending on your kindness to help us secure a financial footing after the pressures we have endured during the pandemic.
Leaving a gift in your Will is a valuable way to support the work we do and make sure we are able to support our patients and their families in the future.
Approximately 32% of our income [in 2019] was made through gifts in Wills. This means the care for one in three patients was possible through generous acts of kindness.
And because of that, we are incredibly grateful to those people who, many years ago, decided to support the hospice in this way.
No matter how large or small your gift is, it will help support local people with life limiting illnesses.
Are you ready to Help our Hospice and pledge to leave a gift in your Will?
How to support the Help our Hospice appeal
- If you already have a Will you can ask your solicitor to ensure it includes a donation to the hospice
- If you have yet to organise a Will now is the perfect time to make one and include Eden Valley Hospice as a beneficiary. You can either make a donation for a specific amount in your will or stipulate a percentage of your estate.
