Challenge Events

See the world, complete a challenge and support your local hospice!

Whether you want to tick an item off your bucket list or complete a challenge with your family, friends or work colleagues, challenge eventss provide you with the opportunity to create memories which will last a lifetime.

From cycling to running to canoeing, overseas challenges can take you anywhere around the world whilst you support Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw.

In the summer of 2021, the hospice will be hosting our first Bikes, Boats, Boots challenge in the beautiful Lake District. During an action packed day of fundraising you will cycle along the shores of Ullswater, canoe on the beautiful Ullswater lake and hike to the stunning summit of Helvellyn.

In 2022, to celebrate the hospice’s 30th anniversary, we will be hosting a special overseas challenge to Nepal. The Trek Nepal & Community Project will provide you with an amazing opportunity to see the world, challenge yourself and whilst giving something back to two hospices, Eden Valley Hospice & Jigsaw and Nepal Hospice.

In 2014 Lorna Young, pictured above, reached the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro and raised over £1,000 in aid of the hospice.

If you are looking for a more high octane, high adrenaline challenge event why not let the wind blow through your hair as you take part in an exhilarating skydive.

Similar to the challenge events we do not organise our own event but would be more than happy to support your during your challenge.

If you would like to complete your challenge close to home Skydive Northwest, based at Grange-over-Sands host charity events which will provide you with stunning views across Cumbria.
