Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100
Location: Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park London E20 2ST
Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw are delighted to have received two places for the 2020 Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100.
Celebrating the legacy for cycling created by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 starts from the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park then follows a 100-mile route on closed roads through the capital and into Surrey’s stunning countryside.
There is no other closed-road event like it that combines the fun and accessible element of a free family ride in central London, with leg-testing climbs and a route made famous by the world’s best cyclists at the London 2012 Olympics, it’s a truly spectacular event for all involved.
The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey finishes on The Mall in central London, shortly before 150 professional cyclists race in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic on a similar route. To find out more about the event route click here.
"To have the opportunity to take part in such an amazing event with 25,000 other cyclists was just amazing. Many of those cycling were raising money for different charities and it was quite emotional listening to people talk about their own personal reasons for taking part in the event.
"Riding through London on closed roads felt so surreal and finishing on The Mall with Buckingham Palace in front of us was quite an emotional expereince. Neither os use can belueve that we cycles 100 miles in a day. We had so much support from family and friends back home that we were both determined to finish." Nicola Jackson, 2019 Ride London Fundraiser.
The entry fee for one place is £50 with suggested minimum sponsorship of £450 for Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw.
