Walk and Talk Group
What is it?
This free peer support group is for adults coping with the grief that comes from losing a loved one. It provides a welcoming space to meet new people, share experiences, and receive support from others who understand. Whether you’re seeking companionship or a listening ear on tough days, this group offers comfort through connection and movement.
What to expect?
Whether you’ve recently experienced bereavement or it was some time ago, this group is here to help you feel supported and listened to. There is no pressure to talk about anything you don’t wish to. The group is simply an opportunity for you to meet new people while getting out into nature.
We carefully choose locations where routes are accessible for all. The walks are short and easy, and usually end with the opportunity to enjoy a brew.
Where and when?
Chances Park, Carlisle – The first Tuesday of every month at 11am.
Hammonds Pond, Carlisle – The third Tuesday of every month meeting at the Hammonds Pond car park off Blackwell Road at 11am.
