Info for Family & Friends
We welcome all family and friends to visit their loved ones at the Hospice and hope you’ll find the information in this section useful. If you have a question which isn’t answered here, please send us an email on our Contact Us page.
Having a friend or relative come to a Hospice can be a worrying and an anxious time. But we’ll do our best to alleviate any concerns you might have by providing as much information as we can here, as well as offering you care and support during and after your loved one has been at the Hospice.
If you’d like more of an insight into what happens for the patient, please take a look at our “What to Expect if you are a Patient” page.
The care we provide to our patients is extended to their loved ones. We do this through our Family Support Team, offering counselling and spiritual support as well as the services of social workers on hand. In addition, we offer our Complementary Therapies to our patients’ family, friends and carers. The wide range of therapies help to relax your body and calm your mind at this time.
