Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice, are delighted to have received a generous gift from A E Yates Ltd., who have provided them with a van on a 3-year contract. This remarkable donation will significantly enhance their ability to serve the community across Cumbria.
Vicki Lesley, who is a fundraiser at Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, expressed gratitude: “We are deeply grateful to A E Yates Ltd. for this incredible gift. it enables us to get out into the community to visit schools, workplaces and groups to talk about and raise awareness of the services we provide at the hospice, to deliver fundraising packs and materials to our wonderful fundraisers, to attend fundraising events, conduct various outreach services and much more”
It allows us to continue our mission of providing specialist care to adults and children with life-limiting conditions; The provision of the van eliminates the need for us to purchase or lease a vehicle, meaning more of our resources can be allocated directly to patient care and support for local families.”
A E Yates Ltd. has committed to an initial 3-year term for the van, with an expressed interest in establishing a long-term partnership with the hospice. Their generosity not only helps save on transportation costs but also amplifies the impact within the community.
