What do our chefs have to say?

Sue, Assistant Chef: “I was nervous about working in the last Pop-up Café, but the rest of the team supported and encouraged me to have a go, and I loved it! It was such a lovely environment and being part of it felt really special – I can’t wait for the next one!”

Natalia, Assistant Chef: “I joined the Hospice just over 3 years ago, and I love being part of the Catering team. The role is so varied and dynamic! The Pop-up Café events are great – they add another string to our bow. They are a great way of connecting with people.”

Bev, Hospitality Lead: “I have dreamt of expanding the catering services since I joined the Hospice over 5 years ago; it has taken a lot of work to get to this point where we can now start to offer more, and I am so proud of the team for their commitment, drive and belief in me.
