Eden Valley Hospice is a forward-thinking, compassionate provider of specialist palliative and end-of-life care. We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team in our 10-bed inpatient unit based in Carlisle.

We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, person-centred care through our inpatient unit, Living Well and Outreach services, patient and family support, and Jigsaw, our dedicated children’s hospice. About the Role
To provide a high standard of administrative and data management support to Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, ensuring accurate patient records, efficient clinical administration, and robust data analysis to inform decision-making and improve service quality.
What You’ll Do
Act as the first point of contact for visitors, relatives, and healthcare professionals on our Adult Inpatient Unit.
- Provide essential administrative support to hospice services.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with GDPR and information governance standards.
- Manage and analyse data to produce high-quality reports aligned with key performance indicators.
- Support system administration, template design, and staff training on EMIS.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence with IT systems.
- Experience in healthcare administration and/or data analytics is desirable.
- A commitment to confidentiality and working with sensitivity in emotionally challenging environments.
