Role Summary
Can you help us by being part of a dedicated team of volunteers listing, selling, packing and posting items through our eBay shop? This role is crucial to ensuring that we get the highest possible price and reach the largest audience for selected donations of stock, helping to raise as much money as possible to provide the vital specialist care for adults and children.
Days and times
Any help between Monday- Saturday 9am-4:30pm & Sunday 10am-4pm
Role Requirements
The ability to operate as part of a small team under the direction of our Online operations lead. Identifying, listing, selling, packing and posting our higher value donations through our eBay shop
Duties and responsibilities
· Using the digital camera to take high quality photographs of the items for sale and saving on the computer ready to be listed
· Researching items to ensure they are valued correctly
· Listing items on eBay including adding photos, creating a description, selecting appropriate postage costings for items being placed sold on eBay
· Using email and eBays messaging system to communicate with buyers to answer any questions relating to items for sale
· Securely packing items to be shipped, ensuring the correct address label is attached
· Taking sold items to the post office for shipping or handing over to a delivery collection driver.
