Business and partnerships

Give your business the upper hand by getting involved in your local community and supporting us here at your hospice.

The hospice is a well-known and trusted part of the community; some of your customers could already support or benefit from our services. By supporting the hospice, your company is investing in its community, helping to improve the quality of life for local people with life-limiting conditions.

Why your support matters?

Around 80% of our funding comes from the generosity of our community — including businesses like yours. Your contribution helps us provide compassion, dignity and specialist care for patients and their families when they need it most.

“If everyone did a little, together we would all do a lot.”

Emma Rogerson, Partnerships Lead

Club 24

Launched in 2024, Club 24 is an exclusive business initiative with more than 40 local companies already involved.

Each business funds 24 hours of vital, compassionate care for a local family when they need it most.

We recognise that most businesses across Cumbria are SMEs, and that charitable budgets can be stretched. That’s why Club 24 is designed to offer a manageable, meaningful way to give, allowing your business to make a regular contribution that directly funds something specific and essential.

We also understand that businesses receive countless requests for support, and that our county is home to many important charitable causes. Club 24 gives you the flexibility to contribute without having to commit all your resources to one place — whether through an affordable one‑off donation or a monthly gift.

Imagine being part of a collective that could fund an entire year of care? Our ambition is to grow Club 24 to 365 businesses, each funding 24 hours of care!

Payroll giving

Creating a Payroll giving scheme for your employees is quick and easy. All your employees’ donations are sent directly to a Payroll Giving Agency (PGA), who will handle the transfer of funds directly to Eden Valley Hospice/Jigsaw, or any other charity they may choose to support.

Payroll giving is a great way to make a regular tax-free gift to the hospice. It’s the only way of giving to charity that allows full tax relief on donations, and there are virtually no set-up costs.

If you would like someone to come and speak to your staff about the scheme, please contact Emma Rogerson, our Corporate Partnership Lead at emma.rogerson@edenvalleyhospice.org or call 01228 810801

Charity of the year

Choosing the hospice as your corporate charity partner will not only help you reach your Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) objectives but will also allow your business to engage your team with a unified cause of support, benefitting the local families that support your business, every day.

By committing to the hospice throughout the year and setting a fundraising target that feels achievable for your organisation, your team can work together toward a meaningful, tangible outcome. This shared focus creates opportunities for team building, strengthens working relationships and boosts morale, all while giving back to the community your business is proud to be part of.

Collection boxes

Hospice collection boxes in local businesses, offices, churches, pubs, cafes or anywhere else you can think of is another great way to raise money for us. Not only that, but it is a brilliant way of raising awareness about the hospice.

If you have a hospice box and it’s getting full, just get in touch and we’ll arrange for it to be emptied.

The way we were treated, it was so kind, so gentle, so understanding and so compassionate. It was the constant generosity of spirit of the staff that was so endearing.
