Nuclear Transport Solutions (NTS) have supported Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw over the last year after choosing them as their charity of the year. The hospice cares for adults and children throughout Cumbria who have a life-limiting condition, as well as supporting their families friends and carers.
The NTS team have been taking on challenges, hosting events and raising vital funds in creative ways. Their regular bake sales, events in the office, and participation in hospiceās Stars to Sunrise challenge have all helped to raise vital funds for local families in need. The company also participated in hospiceās partnership scheme Club 24 which pays for 24 hours of care for a patient, as well as sponsoring the Jigsaw Childrenās Hospice Christmas party and purchased much-needed privacy screens to be used on the Adult In-Patient Unit.
Their incredible generosity has totalled £7,527! The funds raised will have a lasting impact on those cared for by the hospice, ensuring patients can receive quality clinical, medical and emotional support, while allowing families to create lasting memories with their loved ones.
Eleanor Viney, Head of Marketing and Income Generation expressed her gratitude, āWe are honoured that NTS have been able to support us in so many ways and are incredibly grateful for their kindness. Though it may be the end of our official partnership, we are sure that the connections and support that has been forged over the past year will mean we will continue to work together in some way, to make a real difference to local families now, and into the future.ā
Sam Wilkinson, NTS Communications and Stakeholder Relations Director, said, “Supporting Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw over the past year has been a truly meaningful journey for all of us at NTS.
