Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice, are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Shop Supervisor to help drive the success of our busy Furniture Shop. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in your community while supporting vital hospice care across Cumbria.
What you’ll be doing:
- Maximising sales and helping us reach our income targets
- Delivering outstanding customer service in line with our hospice values
- Supporting and leading our brilliant volunteer team
- Managing day-to-day shop operations and maintaining high retail standards
- Overseeing stock donations, rotation and e-commerce activity
- Promoting Gift Aid, our lottery, and hospice fundraising opportunities
- Ensuring a safe, welcoming and well-presented shop environment
What we’re looking for:
- At least 1 year’s retail experience
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A positive, proactive approach and the ability to lead a team
- Confidence working with volunteers
- Good numeracy and IT skills
- A full driving licence
- A genuine commitment to the aims and values of the hospice
