Experienced Lottery Promoter required to promote our fabulous Lottery in Carlisle and Cumbria.
We are a local charity dedicated to providing specialist care to adults from the local area and children throughout Cumbria, as well as caring for their families, friends and carers. It takes over £2.7 million per year to run Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice leaving £1.9 million to be raised through fundraising activities.
Our Weekly Lottery plays a major part in ensuring that we are there for people when they need it most. SEC Fundraising help us acquire new lottery members and have positions available in the Carlisle and Cumbria areas for door-to-door promoters.
We need people who can consistently attract new lottery members without any hard sell or pressure tactics.
Job requirements are to promote our hospice and the excellent work we do and encourage the local people to support us by joining our lottery for £2 per week.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Sales or promotion experience
- Engaging Personality
- Target Driven
- Ability to self-motivate
- Own transport would be useful but not essential
Apart from fundraising or promotions professionals, this position would suit semi-retired people who want to keep fit and earn some additional income at the same time.
