Trustees’ Week (2 to 6 November 2020) is an annual event to showcase the great work that Trustees do. Trustees are the people in charge of a charity. They play a vital role, volunteering their time and working together to make important decisions about the charity’s work.
Malcolm Iredale, Chair of Trustees, explained “I currently have the privilege of chairing the Board of Trustees which provides me with the opportunity to see and appreciate many aspects of hospice activity – and to meet the wide range of dedicated staff, volunteers and supporters who ensure that services are delivered 24/7 throughout the year.
“The role of the Board is to provide strategic leadership and ensure that relevant governance and statutory standards are met in areas such as clinical work, finance, workforce, etc.”
During Trustees’ Week the hospice will be sharing stories from our Trustees across social media and website highlighting the important role they play in the success of Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw. Please follow the links below to find out more during Trustees Week.
